The CPU worked as advertised. It had a little more cosmetic wear on the heat sink surface then I would have liked but it was not advertised as new either. The packaging could have been better. It arrived with a lot of slightly bent pins around the edges (first two rows). These were not bent enough for me to call it damaged and none were broken, but it required quite a lot of time on my part (about an hour) of straightening pins to get the CPU to go into the socket.

Had to do a tiny bit of pin straightening but not a problem that wasn’t easily and quickly solved. Thank you.

It had some bent pins and initially would not fit in the motherboard socket, but after awhile I was able to fix them and the cpu is working perfectly. Thanks.

  • Great vintage cpu

Please note it runs really hot. Don’t fire it up without a heat sync for longer than a couple of seconds. My heat sync got hot enough to burn my fingers without a fan, but as soon as I put the fan back on it stayed nice and cool.

  • Intel Pentium MMX 233mhz CPU

Dropped it right into my motherboard, configured jumpers for it, and added the heatsink and such. And it worked the first boot up and stayed on 24hrs with no issues.
