I have used Burr mixers commercially for years but never had a similar item for my cooking and catering. I now have a flexible and portable cooking carrying case and this is essential. Light, strong and flexible, it can help me make sauces and soups much easier. Recommended most certainly.

Love this immersion blender. The new ones are all so large they're hard to use. This is petite and does everything I need it to, including smoothies.

I previously had owned a 300W Braun Immersion blender when I lived in Europe and grew to love it. It was simply the most handy appliance I have ever owned. So upon returning to the USA, I bought this 200Watt mixer hoping it would be as useful... but unfortunately it is no where close. The difference in power is astounding -- this one overheats blending even refrigerator temperature cream cheese -- and has but one speed, which spatters everything over the kitchen and yourself. If you are looking to chop, whip, blend or grate even the lightest items, say coffee beans or dips, this will not handle them. At most they might puree a creamed soup in its pot but no more. My advice is to get at least the 300 Watt version with variable/multiple speeds or the 400 Watt model. Yes, they cost a LOT more but in the end, you'll be happy and wonder how you ever cooked without one before. Variable or multiple speeds prevent you from getting spattered with whatever you are cooking and also have the power to accomplish the job without overheating. With the right model, immersion blenders are simply a joy and Braun's top models are the best. Unfortunately, this simply isn't one of them!Read full review
Great! This is a fantastic tool. I use it to make puree cat food for an elderly cat. Nothing else works so well. Also great for chopping garlic.

I purchased this because it was on sale at a great price. Knowing how much I love using it, I would pay full price for it now. This is the best investment I have ever made! I love using it, my adult daughter loves using it and her friends when they have come over love it. It is so handy and the perfect size for small jobs. I put the lid to the bowel in the dishwasher and found that it is not dishwasher friendly! Braun sent me a replacement right away. Great product, great company! Thank you Braun!
