Delivered on time. Pretty much as expected, a quality item, it does say it is a rough finish until used a few times, I sharpened a chisel and it did smooth off a bit. This is a sharpening stone, even the ceramic side is pretty rough, if you want to hone get the CC4.

Good for sharpening
Tried this out on a number of knives over a few weeks now and it works well. Good instructions - use diamond side first, then carbide side, no oil or water. Initially a little rough, but it smooths down to a finer grind with use. Much quicker to use than a full sized whetstone with oil or water. Cleverly has rough side of leather on outside of pouch which you can apparently use for stropping, though I haven't tried that. A fine size, but thin if using in your hand, so you need to be reasonably careful, but I've not cut myself yet - I'll probably regret typing that!!Tried this out on a number of knives over a few weeks now and it works well. Great pocket-sized whetstone for all uses
I already owned one of these but bought one recently for my dad to use on his axes for wood chopping, and it does the job brilliantly. Definitely recommend for a small, pocket-sized whetstone you can have available when out and about using a bladed implement that might need a touch-up on the go.

Best knife sharpener
Bought my first one of these about ten years ago. They are the best knife sharpener you could buy but do eventually wear down. That’s to be expected so replacing it after so many uses is to be expected. This time I bought two as I bought my son a top quality Japanese cooking knife nd these are the only sharpener that can work on such high quality steel.

Good bit of kit
Puts a fine edge on your knife or axe so all you do is strop your blade to keep it sharp and maintained great if your out in the field and want a sharpener thats compact sharpens really well and takes up no room at all ideal for bushcraft ,hiking, wildcamping etc
