Quick shipping, I received two slings that were better than the photos. Instead of thick black crusty paint, it looks like these were originally OD green slings that had been made to look black with army boot polish and it’s worn off some. The sling buckles look coated with a greenish lacquer with steel rivets and not brass like the old WWII slings, most likely the ones I got are original FAL slings. Happy with the purchase.

Perfect ! Thanks to this screw my USM1 IBM, purchased a month ago, manufactured in October 1943 then parachuted into the maquis in the South-West of France, regained its original appearance (it was the only part which was not original). THANKS !
