- e***t (210)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseI used the flue sweeping brush today. It is a quality kit, but you need to make absolutely sure the rods are locked together. Twice I lost the brush up the flue liner & the brush got stuck above top of the liner. I bought the 10m kit so had plenty of spare rods to hook the brush & climbed up. Also the rods are flexible, but not flexible enough to reach round the rear flue of an Apple Pie stove. I disconnected & moved the stove to access the bottom of the flue liner. All ok in the end. I'm happy.

As others have noted, the connections are difficult to release, but that makes it more secure when it's 5 metres up inside the flue. Tape a piece of cardboard, or use a foam block to cover the opening and use the drill on a lowish speed and lowish torque. Don't force it. You can increase the speed and torque as needed. After cleaning I used the rods to push an endoscope up inside the flue and it all looked very clean. Highly recommended
