Delivery was quick. Tested the water level switch with a multi-meter and functions the way I want it. The mounting thread fits perfectly to my water tank dimensions. Will be installing it in a few days time.

Float needs more volume to reliably trigger on slowly rising water level. On tests it would randomly miss to open switch. This is not friction related but float buoyance is borderline for the purpose. Not seller's fault. Can be improved by adding some styrofoam to float body, now 100% reliable.I noticed same problem with side mounted float switches, would on occasion not trigger and not open switch. Same fix applies there.
