A good buy.
I've only had the mitre saw for a short time but so far so good. It is a quite capable power saw with enough power giving accurate cuts. A collection dust bag would be handy to have. The maximum depth of cut is 70mm. Unfortunately it will not cut some 3x2 c16 treated timber at the thicker end because of the variation in the finish, which could be 72mm and therefore slightly thicker than the maximum. As said before the material clamp design needs to be improved although still works. It's nice to be able to take shavings off the end grain of timber, which it does with ease. Be sure to set up the saw angles before use and remember to tighten the travel/backlash in the different planes. The saw does does not lift from the parked position unless you press it down first before disengaging the locking pin.
