    Perfect

    It took me a min to figure it out. the reason is because i use a split head set. This means that the mic and speaker are on a separate audio jack. i also have a joiner, this means an adaptor to make it just a single audiojack, witch i missplaced. well i figured i use it same as my Xbox 360 just using the mic audio jack, well it doesn't work that way, but its ok because i can use a pair of ear buds with mic and it works great. so a lil advice to every one. try different mics before thinking it doesnt work. The one i bought was $17 so it was ALOT cheaper than buying a new controller ($50-150) or a new Xbox One headset witch new are going for about $50-100 give or take...

    Xbox one mic adapter

    It stopped working after TWO WEEKS! I’m bought this mic adapter for Xbox controller because the internal auxiliary port stopped working. I got it on time and I’m good condition. Plugged it into the controller and it worked like a champ for only two weeks. It started when my controller shutoff because it was out of juice. As usual I stuck new batteries in the back and turned controller on to see that the mic adapter wasn’t turning on or recognized that there was a mic cord in the adapter port. I tried several attempts at getting to it work again like taking it out putting it back in, shutting off my mic and controller, and even resetting my Xbox to see if that did anything. Nothing worked in the end. Very dissatisfied it is now a 26 dollar piece of plastic.

    Even with the AUX plugin on the new controllers, this adapter makes it easy to turn up and down the volume as well as in game audio and party chat all on your controller. shipped fast and was in new condition as advertised.

    Low Quality, High Price

    This tiny little adapter runs you about $35-$50 (For the oem microsoft adapter). You think that you would be getting what you pay for, but you aren’t. I’ve had my adapter for less than a week, it’s already starting to have issues. Sometimes I have to un-plug it and plug it back in to make it work. Sometimes even after doing that, it won’t work and I have to restart my controller. If I paid $5-$10 I wouldn’t be complaining, but I paid $40 for this piece of plastic. Terrible quality

    As advertised...

    Came on time packaged nicely and arrived in excellent condition. Plugged it into the controller, it fit snug and the headset cable plugged right in with a snap. Self explanatory symbols on the unit make it easy to use. Works like a charm, balances game sound and chat volume as needed and can get VERY loud if you like. Good purchase, highly recommend.
