I have used to using 3/8" drive T- bit socket to remove & installed GM production vehicles. As my experience, T-55 bolt is tight, must secure tighten. So l use 1/2" drive ratchet or power tools... No more need 3/8" (M) to 1/2"(F) adapter socket which loosing power strength... causing broken adapter tip or twisted T-55 bit . As notice 3/8" T-55 bit is 1/4" hex shaft flange (just like bit screwdriver bit...) .
