The only choice in rmr offset mounts.
These are the best offset mounts made, period. It's also 20% the price of the big guys. I tried the high dollar arisaka and trijicon mounts but they don't extend far enough to clear my scope turrets. Almost half the reticle would be occluded by the elevation turret. These offer a quick and clear reference point even with tactical scopes that have long turrets. It may say UTG but they're the only ones making the right kind of product for my particular needs. I recommend these for use with LPVO's or even full-power scopes because it makes finding your target at magnification so much easier. Typically you have to dial your scope way back to see your target and then zoom in on it before you can begin the firing sequence. With this setup you can get the red dot on the target, flip it back over ... These are the best offset mounts made, period. It's also 20% the price of the big guys. Well designed mount to pair with a magnified optic.
I own 2 of these UTG offset mounts now. I have 2 other brands/ types of offset mounts. The UTG includes the correct angle and extended height which puts the RDS on the bore axis and close to the same view height as the LPVO it is paired with on the AR. The low profile portion of the mount that attaches to the rail fit under the LPVO mount cantilever. At this point I only have a few hundred rounds on the UTG mount but I see no indication of any problems with the mount.I own 2 of these UTG offset mounts now. if you look around the price of a 45 deg red dot mounts are 100+$. this one is the right angle and distance from the rail. right in line with my scope with a turn of the wrist. i use it with a holosun 407c. shake n wake, just grab and go.
