    Good combo

    Bought this to watch with the Brawler… a great night of t.v. For anyone that doesn’t know the brawler is a film about the inspiration for the Rocky movies, quite interesting. Amy smart and Zac macgowen play their parts well and the movie is quite interesting. It is a good flick for anyone who loves the Rocky movies

    Rocky

    We bought the movie for a young lady named Adrian, who had never seen it. I love the movie because it shows how a person can truly achieve his full potential when he chooses to step outside of his comfort zone and face his fears of failure. He chooses a girl who was extremely withdrawn, interverted, and lacked self esteem and self condidence, just like himself. She was within his comfort zone. Fortunately for Rocky, he learns that "freedom" is on the otherside of fear. Once he faces his fear of failure, he becomes totally free to surpass any level of expectations that he ever set for himself as a boxer. His success overflows into his personal life and he learns to love and esteem himself and Adrian! There's nothing about this movie that I didn't like!!

    A beautiful movie all around.

    Rocky 4 was my all time favorite Rocky film up until I finally got to watch the first one. This one is by far, the most ambitious Rocky film made under a small budget. Everything about this film carries you deeper into the Rocky legacy with love, confidence, fighting the fight and watching an underdog take the challenge of a lifetime against a champion boxer (Apollo Creed). The punch sounds real as well and not over done like in the last 2 or 3 films where the blows sounded like giants hitting each other. This is the grail of Rocky and I definitely recommend it to anyone. This isn't all boxing like his later films, this is definitely a well balanced movie about everything Rocky has to deal with in his early life.
