    Works fine and looks nice.

    You it is fine. Moving the old parts to the new unit looked easy but in my unit the little spring on the lock popped out almost immediately. It was a bear to put back in. Be careful to not dislodge the spring carefully when you are opening the case and when you put in the electronics.

    Jeep Compass - Needs OE part number not just FCC

    This Jeep Remote could not be programmed toour vehicle with factory Chrysler/Jeep equipment. Recognized,and said it was programmed but did not function even though it had full battery and signal was tested good. This was FOB was re-cased and did not have the original OE Part number. Turns out that Jeep Compass FOB looks like other Jeeps and shares the same frequency, but is unique to Compass. I suspect this came from a different Jeep model. Got one with original part number and it worked.

    Fancy and legit

    Nice shape, has some weight to it and looks good! Only issue was with the panic button contact pin that was in interference with the RH silver shell casing; every time I would try and assemble it, the panic button was triggered. Simply removed some of the plastic with a sharp hobby knife to gain the required clearance. Otherwise, very nice fob for the money!
