    Exactly what I'd needed for research

    The book condition was exactly as advertised, and the internal info. was superb. I required this book for a series of Napoleonic Lancer busts which I hope to retail. The colours and illustrations are superb and the print detail and quality was all that I'd expected.

    Concise and basic introduction

    This is a very concise version of the History of the 'Polish Lancers' so if you want a more in-depth history, i would look at other option's. However, i suspect most would buy this book as a 'modeling reference', for figure painting. Not the best! some six pages in total of fairly standard art work, with not a great deal of detail from the back view. Saying that it is a reference of interest and should be used with other collected data build a complete picture of this subject.
