These lenses are compact enough to take with you anywhere and tough enough to withstand years of continuous use.The autofocus on these Zeiss telephoto lenses can be adjusted from 28mm to 85mm to deliver vivid and sophisticated images. The optics are meticulously crafted and designed to last for generations. Depending on the focal length of the lens, the size of the diaphragm is essential to improve the quality of shots and offer exceptional performance. With a minimum focusing range and zooming capabilities, the unit allows close-up images to be taken with extreme precision. Use the shallow depth of field to create enthralling Bokeh effects. Distortion of pictures and image-blur effects are reduced due to the presence of the f/2.8 aperture and a 44-millimeter filter. The aperture of these lenses uses eight blades, and the minimum focus distance is 3.28 feet.This Carl Zeiss lens works with any Contax G System 35mm cameras, including Contax G2 or Contax G1 camera bodies that are modified with an adapter. Sony adapters are also available for some Sony E-mount cameras, including the Sony A711 and other Sony models in that series. When attached to your our Contax G camera body, this lens offers lightning-fast auto exposure and autofocus, as well as through the lens (TTL) metering for lighting and flash. The mechanical screw-style automatic focus is very reliable. Your Zeiss lenses are always ready for action when the automatic focus is set to Continuous Mode. This is ideal for the beginning film photographer, as his art is not slowed down by the manual focus functions used on similar cameras. The experienced photographer may prefer to use this lens in manual focus with a Metabones adapter.     Fantastic Lens

    The 90 mm lens is just fantastic. Small, light-weight and absolutely sharp as a tack. I use it on my Sony A7ll with great results. Some may ask why buy a used 20 year old lens for a very modern and expensive camera---the reason is simple, this is a Carl Zeiss glass with outstanding image quality. It takes a full day or two of practice, but the results are outstanding. And the price, well, it would cost over $1,000 USD to purchase a lens with equal sharpness and twice the size and weight.     Great Value Lens

    This is a great value lens. Image is super sharp and it was like new when I received it. The only tricky part is you need a good adaptor (which is not cheap) to go with if you are planning to use it on a mirrorless camera like me.

    Understand your limitations

    I have to admit that I was not familiar with how to adapt this lens to the Sony a-series camera with an adapter. I couldn't get it to work for me. I accept full responsibility for my ineptitude.
