Funny book with great illustrations, a must-have for cat lovers
excellent book for cat owners/ cat lovers. Had everyone in fits of giggles. Simon's sketches are so perceptive and anyone who has ever owned a cat can relate to his cat's antics and the mischief he gets up to! A real tonic. The illustrations are brilliant with exceptional attention to detail.

Every page is timelessly funny. If you liked the short films or are new to Simon Tofield's creation this is a Must Buy.

Book 2 as good as book 1!
After stumbling upon the Simon's Cat videos by chance I developed a love for the naughty little kitty obsessed with his stomach. After purchasing the first book I started a frantic search for another and when I saw the youtube advert for the second book I typed "Simon's Cat: Beyond the Fence" so quickly into the ebay search bar that my keyboard didn't know what had hit it! The beautiful thing about this book (and the first book too) is that despite the wacky things the cat gets up to you can easily see your own pet doing exactly that. I find this adds to the magic and humour of the book.
