ModNation Racers is a system-exclusive kart racing game that allows users to create, customize, and share levels with the PSP community. Viewed from a third-person perspective behind your go-kart, the game involves effectively using drifting techniques to fill a multifunctional boost meter. Depending on the meter's level, you can use the boost for a temporary surge of speed or for a shield to defend against enemy projectiles. <br><br>Weapons scattered across the tracks include missiles, lightning strikes, sonic waves, and more. Each weapon can also be powered up to new levels, allowing for enhanced attacks. Similar in concept to LittleBigPlanet, ModNation Racers features a robust set of tools to customize characters, vehicles, and tracks. Players can choose from an assortment of terrain types and then modify the environment by adjusting elevation and adding water, mountains, houses, trees, animals, ramps, and other objects. The handheld version supports up to six simultaneous racers, either locally via Ad-hoc connection or online.

This is a good game to because racing games are some of my favorites and I like how this game lets you customize you car and I like the power ups you get in the game to wreck your opponents.

A good game, but without a MAJOR warning!
ModNation Racers is a good game. If you buy it used, BE WARNED THAT YOU WILL NOT HAVE ACCESS TO ALL THE MATERIAL!!!! :( After buying the game, you will have to buy the game's online entitlement (a $15 value) in order to download people's carts, tracks, and mods (a new game will come with the entitlement code in the case). Make sure that a used game comes with the entitlement, or you will get ripped off of one of the game's best features! The PS3 version doesn't need the entitlement. JUST ANOTHER PLOY FOR ONE OF THE MAJOR VIDEO GAME INDUSTRIES TO MAKE MONEY BY NOT INFORMING THE PUBLIC WELL BY ADVERTISING THE GAME WITH THE ONLINE ENTITLEMENT!
