      Good prop, good value.

      I just installed this 4-blade 19" pitch on 90HP Merc Command Thrust on my 17' Glasspar (1962 Model). This is a somewhat "wet" running hull in that it has a deeper fore foot so there is more hull drag than more modern boats. I had a new 3-blade 21 pitch prop that would yield about 22~23 MPH and 3,600 RPM. That's our favorite cruise RPM because the motor settles down and is quiet enough to talk over and listen for the wake, shore sounds, etc. The new 4-blade is at 25 MPH at 3,600 RPM when trimmed out to best running. And wide open it's off the speedo. Somewhere in the mid-40's at 5,700 RPM. It has a bigger trim-out range before it ventilates so there is more usable ride adjustment for the given conditions. Trimmed all the way out to just before ventilation it will do 26 MPH at ...

      I had to try it out to believe it. This 4 blade made a big difference. Like night and day. It gets you out of the hole and planes out really fast. But you pick up speed very quick. I love it! Originally my prop was 14.5-19P(3blades) and I changed it to 14.25-19P (4blade)I tell you what I’m never going back to a 3 blade. I only lost 200rpm at wot but my speed is 42mph-44mph. With a4.3 merc, alpha 1 Who cares I never go that fast anyways. I tube and wake board and this blade is perfect. Try it out give it a chance. I promise you’ll love it!!

      Best Prop

      I'm an old guy and Ive been around boat 60 yrs. This 4 Bladed prop is a wonderful value, much better than a composite prop. It lets the engine pull all the way to the red line and has great bite in hard turns. Also good hole shot characteristics - excellent choice for pulling skiers.

      Excellent and inexpensive way to accelerate faster and plane quicker. Have a 3.0 mercruiser Bayliner 175 and it’s at least 30 if not 40% quicker to plane. Much easier to pull people up and went from 42mph top speed to 36 buts it’s worth it.
