Barely heats up, obviously pets can't overheat but even on the high setting, it's barely warm to direct touch and you can't feel it at all through even just one single layer of thin blanket (which it needs because it's an uncomfortable tough plastic texture on its own). I wouldn't buy without the cover because it's effectively useless. My old house in Melbourne is freezing at night and I wasted so much money on 2 of these, I'd spend more on a better one to make sure your pets are actually warm.

Once the package arrived in Brisbane it was picked up by a company named FREIGHTSTER.

I would suggest that you change carriers.

Apart from the delivery time as I think it went astray at the couriers end the item is very well packed and appears to be of good quality, not fitted as yet, communications with seller was good regarding delivery problem but with that sorted I am very happy, I would recommend this seller and may update re the item after fitting.
