    The battery looks good - haven't had a chance to use it yet. It looks like a new unbadged Ryobi battery. I charged it up in Ryobi charger so it is ready to go. Hoping it's charge lasts a bit longer than the genuine Ryobi 4.0AH (that has lasted for years). Great value if it measures up but only time will tell.

    I read a lot of reviews about these products and noted that many commented that the battery was lighter than the equivalent Ryobi battery, and therefore were dubious about it's running time. My new battery is labelled as 5.5Ah as opposed to my old Ryobi 5Ah. My new battery weighs 80gm less than my old Ryobi battery. Time will tell as to whether it is less efficient or not, but so far it works exactly as described. Communication was great, delivery prompt, and can't fault the price.

    18v Lithium Battery

    I have to say don’t expect a genuine Ryobi, but the product seems just as good, stays charged as long as Ryobi. I bought one initially, tried it out then ordered another two.

    NOT Genuine Ryobi branded battery

    This is no a genuine ryobi battery. It has been cleverly worded to get you to think that it is. The word Genuine should not be in the title. PLUS the image is showing a genuine battery but it is not. The main image shows the ORIGINAL / REAL battery from RYOBI. The batter you get it just the aftermarket / replacement battery. NOT GENUINE battery from Ryobi

    usable time only 10minutes

    It worked for only 10 minutes. but still the green light shows it is only half used. Had to wait for over an hour to let it cool properly before it would recharge.. I set the cutting blades on high in case it was the long grass that caused the short time..but No-it still only worked for 10 mins & still showed 2 green lights.. It took equally as much time if not more, to set up the mower on the patch of lawn & then to empty the catcher & wipe the mower down. Hardly worth the effort.

    very disappointed with this product

    The battery I purchased is faulty. After the charge indicator lights on the battery show that it is fully charged, it can be used for approx 20 seconds and the battery is fully discharged. The charged indicator light demonstrates there is no charge left. I have tried 3 times to recharge the battery using the recommended Ryobi Charger and the outcome is the same each time with approx 20 seconds usage before totally discharged. Thank you Rob

    Vanon 18V 5.0ah Battery

    The battery is advertised as being a 18V 5.0ah Genuine Battery for Ryobi. Unfortunately the battery forwarded to me was Vanon 18v 5.0ah suitable for Ryobi One+. Although this alternative works ok, I have had previous experience with the Vanon Battery having to be prized away from the charger or tools as the fittings did not fit.
