  • Ash comes back for seconds.

Five years after releasing his horror masterpiece "The Evil Dead" onto unsuspecting moviegoers, Sam Raimi returns for a sequel along with Bruce Campbell. This time it would have a higher budget ($3.6 million), different cast members, an aspiring make-up effects team and a slapstick tone that would contrast itself from the original film. The always strapping but irregular Ash Williams (Campbell) and his girlfriend Linda (this time played by Denise Bixler) are about to have the hellish weekend stay of their lives. Once again, they unwittingly play a dead professor's recordings of mystical summonses from the Necronomica, better known as "The Book of the Dead." When his girlfriend unexpectedly gets possessed by evil forces, Ash becomes trapped in the cabin with no means of escape until four ...

  • A great addition to the Evil Dead series

Evil Dead 2 The second entry into the Evil Dead series and just as good as the original. It's rare that you find sequels to be just as good or better than the originals and Evil Dead 2 is just that. Bruce Campbell is back and better than ever and the supporting cast really adds to the movie. The special effects are as cheesy as possible. The evil that Bruce battles is even better than the first Evil Dead film. Final Verdict: 5/5 Rent or Buy?: The Evil Dead series is one of my all-time favorites. Buy a copy of this movie today and you'll enjoy it for a long time. IF YOU FIND THIS REVIEW HELPFUL PLEASE REMEMBER TO VOTE. Thank you.

  • Great limited edition

Very unique tin edition, it's much larger than a dvd case so it won't just fit on the shelf but it's definitely a display worthy piece with great artwork on the tin. There were several others that anchor bay released and all of them are marvelous.

  • Excellent Product, perfect condition

This limited edition dvd is outstanding. Product included the collectors tin, dvd, booklet and extras. Everything was in "new" condition. viewed dvd and extras and all is fantastic. Loved the booklet which contains photos of the shoot, actors and set. It also gave some behind the scenes 'dirt' which augmented the extras on the dvd. The making of the film extra, "The Gore the Merrier" is outstanding. Lots of details on the special effects and how they made do with the extremely low budget. awesome all around.

  • Awesome

A must see for horror fans. It's the best of the series. Collectors will definitely want this.
