Didn't hear back from Weber when I told them it doesn't get hot enough. It reaches 250C when empty but once you put food on the grill it doesn't get much above 150C.
I would rate this as the worst bbq I have ever owned. It looks nice but if you can't get a char finish when you want it then it's useless.

The Genesis II S455 arrived well packaged and in top condition, it is a quality, good value for money buy and easy to assemble instructions had it constructed without a problem. Communication and help from Weber was without compromise. Although the item could not be delivered in the "estimated delivery time" (due to remoteness of our town), it was delivered, as agreed between ourselves, in the nominated time period and I'm very happy with that.
