Lumen output is slightly higher than incandescent 1156 lamps, with whiter light and only 18-20% of the amperage draw of the incandescent lamps. I am using these for turn signal and backup lamps on Japan type autos, so resistors were necessary to correct hyperflash on the turn signals.

Just like another person said, one of the bulbs had the solder broken at the base but that could be because I think the delivery person just threw the package on my porch.

These are great since the don't run hot like conventional bulbs. Again, nice bright white light. Of note, these are polarized and for the firebird, I had to reverse the wires to make them work. Not a big deal, just a heads up. However, was worth the minimal time to reverse them.
