  • Not a collector's item, but well worth buying

    Well, I was working on a kitbash of something similar to a Y-wing, and figured I could work better if I had a model of such in my hands to look at. Finding that even in Japan the model simply isn't available right now--not at all in the U.S.--I started looking at e-buy for older ones. Happened upon this one, which didn't appear to be my preferred 1:72 scale, but didn't appear to be any _other_ scale either. Gave in and bought one. When it showed up I took it out of the bags and test-fitted it. Seems like a good, sturdy model. Once I get my kitbash done, I think I'm going to take it apart and do a nice finish on it. Seems worth it. The model comes in pre-painted (or -decalled) sprues; someone with a sprue cutter or an x-acto will have no problem getting the parts apart for assembly. The ...
