      IR 850-Pro

      Be careful! If your intention is to use this with the XSight 3X14 it may wash out the screen. Up to 150yds can be easily illuminate by the smaller unit that comes with the scope. Unit works too good! I kept it for a bakup or being able to illuminate the area from a different source than me. At close range I adj the illuminator up so that I'm using the out rings of illumination so as to not wash out the light. Also - I see NO adj on this. The smaller one that comes with the scope has 3 levels. A piece of tint could fix the issue with the brightness.

      IR850 Pro Advice

      First, ATN's documentation is terrible. Find out about their products via Forums. This light has NO adjustment for intensity like it's little brother that comes with the scope. The batteries are NOT interchangeable either. Last, if your less than 150 yds - since this light has no intensity adjustment - it can easily throw so much IR out there that it's too bright for the scope. Especially if your shooting area has a lot of follage to reflect the light. Stick with the stock light for short range. If ur dumb like me and get it anyway cause of the pros and cons you read and it ends up too bright - adjust the light offset from the scope so that your looking through the hue of the light. This will help the light not flush out the scope. If I had to do it all over I would have saved a little ...

      powerful illuminator

      It is bright and has more range than I feel comfortable shooting my 300 blackout. I am using it with the atn 4k pro 5-20 . I Just got the new illuminator and still tinkering with it .I wish the made a flip down shade so you could use it for close range ,it is too bright for anything under 100 yards .

      Great addition to X-Sight

      This is a great addition to my X-Sight. Gives better clarity at ranges beyond 100yds over the original IR sent. Have tried it at 200-300yds with no problems.

      Great Illuminator

      I bought this as a add on for my night vision scope It helps me get a longer distance. The only this I had to do was buy another mount because the mount that comes with it will not allow for a side mount,but I knew that when I purchased it.
