If you just need to clean your threads without having to use much force then it might work. This tool bent In my case with an O2 sensor that a previous owner either crossed threaded or didn’t screw in all the way to allow the sensor to seat on the o ring and possibly allowing rust in the lower threads. I have seen this same exact tool sold for more than double the price from this seller so it’s a good way to give it a try without spending much.
