    Thunderbirds are definitely GO!!

    What can I say about this 1960's TV show! Nothing bad that's for sure! I grew up with this show and used to watch it before my mom would take me to school when I was in the first grade! Yes...it is a kids TV show, but let me tell you...the stories are well written and intelligent and you can see that children's programming was not dumbed down to kids in the 60's like it is for today's kids. I still enjoy watching these because the stories are that good and they still hold up to anything that is on TV today! To be honest I consider this show to be waaaay better than many of the adult shows on TV today!! Thunderbirds was a show that was produced by Gerry Anderson (who also created UFO, Space:1999, Captain Scarlet and others) and used puppets as the stars with voice actors providing the ...

    Thunderbirds are GO !!!

    I bought this DVD set for my husband for Christmas. We both remember the Thunderbirds show when it was on the air. It is great fun to watch these episodes again. DVDs are great quality. I felt that the price was very reasonable. The story lines are excellent, and you can forget that the characters are marionettes. What's life like in 2065? The special effects are fantastic. Some of the gadgets have already come into mainstream life. Gerry Anderson (creator of Thunderbirds) and crew did a fantastic job. If you want to escape, have adventure, watch things get blown up and espionage, this is the show for you! I recommend this DVD set.

    Thunderbirds memorabilia complete series a gem

    We had to watch more, after finding one full edition on Youtube edited by a fan as a tribute to Thunderbirds. And found this DVD set of the complete series created 50 years ago in the UK by dedicated film artists. The artform Supermarionation is well explained and documented also on Youtube for the viewers' greater appreciation. This complete series gives the viewer a superior viewing experience and a much clearer picture. Enjoy and own this wonderful vintage artform series once again as an adult or for the first time - a fascinating experience. The pyrotechnics are excellent and amazing!

    OH MY GOODNESS, I LOVE THE THUNDERBIRDS. I STARTED WATCHING AS A LITTLE GIRL, I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE SERIES. NOW THAT I AM A GRANDMA I STILL LOVE IT, AND WILL INTRODUCE IT TO MY GRANDCHILDREN, I CANNOT WAIT. I HOPE THEY FALL IN LOVE WITH THESE CHARACTERS AS I DID, AND STILL DO. I FEEL THESE ARE THE FIRST SUPERHEROES. THIS SERIES IS SO COOL. NOTICE WHEN THEY SHOW THEIR HANDS, IT IS USUALLY REAL PEOPLES HANDS, MANICURED AND ALL.
