Genuine Mazda product 5*
Mazda have come up trumps with their dog guard, solid, easy to fit and no rattling. Only thing to be aware of is that if you do not keep the tonneau cover in place (once dog guard is fitted) a small adventurous dog may try to fit between the gate and the top of the seats to get into the front. It's about 4-5" gap, not problematic but our patterdale is mishievous so we leave the tonneau cover in place and rolled over the top of itself to take up the gap. We purchased it for the purpose of ensuring our dog would remain in the boot space and it certainly does its job. It fits perfectly and makes no noise
The Dog Guard fits in perfectly. We had a little difficulty installing it as a couple of things weren't a straight slip into place. One screw we can't fully tighten because the welding covers the hole slightly where the screw goes through but we have managed to tighten it enough. It makes no noise which is great. Most importantly, it does it's job, by keeping my dog in the boot space which she seems happy about as we have a bed there for her. I would certainly recommend getting one. A practical dog guard.
Fitted so that the luggage cover can be used when necessary. A very sturdy fitting using brackets into the roof lining. No rattling noises when driving. Well worth paying a bit more when compared with other guards.
