    signal loss and distortion

    I wanted to like it...most Boss/Roland products are very good, but this one is not. Wanted a lightweight, passive volume pedal and this one fit the bill, but it has so much signal loss and introduces a fair amount of distortion when used in the effects loop, which is where I needed it.

    Great Boss pedal

    Great volume pedal. I wanted a pedal so I didn't have to change the knobs on my guitar while playing . I do a solo so I have to keep playing or the sounds stops. This pedal works perfectly and is small doesn't take up much room. Also while changing guitars just turn it down and noiseless changing.

    Boss FV-50H

    Great volume pedal. Does the essentials. Everyone seems to think go with the VP Jr but this does everything you need it to. The volume swell range probably isn't as long as the Jr but you can dial it in with a little practice. Plus no strings to break!! Satisfied.
