Unit is very basic with very light marks on the top surface of the aluminium unit but the black anodising is over the top of the marks so they are relatively unobtrusive. The unit does what it is intended too and is very cheap cost wise. I bought it to modify for my installation and it does what I wanted of it perfectly. I can recommend it.
