Minicurve can mean that compact layout you want may yet be feasible
Having tried the tomix fine track system I'm exceedingly impressed with not only the quality and the look, but the fact that a turnout of such small dimensions can function so reliably. Its power routing so no extra wiring required and whether its coincidence or not, especially being developed well after the fine track line, the minicurve point geometry fits in any track scenario with ease. Like with all minicurve trackage there is a disclaimer about what can be run through them, and it's not nearly as straightforward as it appears, especially running the kato rhb line or anything with non arnold couplings. I've really learnt that sometimes moving away from the norm or the accepted can mean you can have fun, masses of operations, and a fairly complex layout in a minimal space, and the ...
