The reenactors enjoy every minute of portrayal of the way people lived and worked without the conveniences and inconveniences of our own times and that joy draws you in and, for longer than the running time of the series, makes you one of the family. And many of us have bygone family that lived such lives beyond the poverty and grime of city dwelling. Informative and contemplative.
