What it is designed to do, it does well. Performance is very good to excellent. Price is quite reasonable, given what it does. However, before you buy this unit, read the details carefully. This unit will NOT do the work that another robot vacuum costing seven times as much money will do. It is designed to perform specific tasks. I am completely satisfied with how well it works for me. I have two tasks which the Braava Jet 240 was purchased to do. First, we have a screened-in porch beside the house. A lot of dust and pollen, especially tree pollen gets through the screens. Our Braava Jet cleans the porch floor exceedingly well. Our elderly canine companion will sometimes urinate on the floor when she can't get out quickly enough. For this, I must use a mop with chlorine bleach. When in the mopping mode, the Braava Jet does a great job in mopping up the residue. When finished, we just drop the pad into the trash, although we are now buying washable/re-usable pads. I have read that the washable/re-usable pads do a better job though I have not yet had the opportunity to try them myself. The disposable pads are satisfactory. Or second use is in the kitchen. The Braava Jet does a fine job of simple cleaning after we have swept the floor. DO NOT expect the Braava Jet to clean up burned-on or extremely sticky items on the floor. It isn't big enough or heavy enough for this task. However, if you have gotten those items cleaned up already, the Braava Jet does the finishing work. Pouring water into the Braava Jet is simple enough, though take the battery out before doing so. Disposing of used pads is simple. The unit, itself somehow recognizes which pads are being used so adapts the unit's operation to the type of pad which is installed. Installation is easy. Overall, I am entirely satisfied with this unit. But, let me reinforce what I said earlier about buying the right tool for the task. This is a small, lightweight unit. It does what it is designed to do and does it well. Just don't expect its performance to equal something which is larger and more costly.Read full review

The water tank is difficult to fill. Also it doesn't dock like the other robot vacuum cleaners. You have to take the battery out every time you use it and manually recharge it, then insert it and place the robot where you want it to clean. What I didn't consider is that the pad is never rinsed. So it really is only good for mopping after you have dry mopped. The pad just pushes the dirt around. It also is very slow. I love my robot vacs, but this has a long way to go. Mine kept getting stuck in the middle of an empty hall and telling me to move it somewhere else. Much easier to mop by hand.

This is a great product. I would tell anyone who is looking to save time and add value to buy this product. It cleans my floors until they are spic and span. I don't even have to dust mop. It's really nice not to have to clean out under the beds or the sofa. This is a great machine!

This mopping robot is quite good, easy to use and does the job well. The only problem, as with all of iRobot's stuff is that the robot is difficult to contain in the space you want. I just put a physical barrier up where I don't want the robot to go.

It’s more straightforward to use than it is easy. I found the “disposable” pads pretty disappointing, the nonwoven fabric is not good at moving around water/cleaning solute. But, reusable pads give good results. With reusable mopping pads, wetting and squeezing the pads out before mounting them makes the mopping so much better. I was very happy with the mopping in my tiny bathroom where a Bissell Spinwave is absolute overkill.
