    Mini DVI to VGA adapter works for me

    My Apple Imac g5 all in one had developed so many vertical lines and wide bars in the screen It became difficult to see what was on the desktop. let alone edit video! I'm getting another one and going to repair the screen in my old one. In the mean time I'm using the adapter to connect it to a monitor so I can work uninterrupted. BTW other monitor resolution is better and better overall. Good to keep around for emergencies, You can also get a DVI output instead of VGA and another one for apple macbooks and ibooks in case your screen goes out in the middle of an assignment.
