    Over the years, I've read this book many MANY times - and made sure my kids & close friends have also... because it's one of the most stimulating/interesting/absorbing pieces of contemporary literature they'll ever come across. Ditto- the film. Both are unforgettable & a major cultural necessity == now and forever.
