Not to be missed. 'Ultimate' seems an apt description... Anno Dracula is at once playful, horrific, intelligent and revelatory... Newman's prose will remain gloriously unique." -- Locus " Anno Dracula couldn't be more fun if Bram Stoker had scripted it for Hammer. It's a beautifully constructed Gothic epic that knocks almost every other vampire novel out for the count." -- Christopher Fowler "Bloody excellent. Kim Newman has exsanguinated the best of fact and fiction and created a vivid vampirous Victorian world uniquely his own.  This clever, delicious extravaganza - Hammer Horror meets True (Blue) Blood - is just the tonic for the year of a Royal Wedding." -- Stephen Volk " Anno Dracula is the smart, hip Year Zero of the vampire genre's ongoing revolution." -- Paul McAuley, Stephen King assumes we hate vampires; Anne Rice makes it safe to love them, because they hate themselves. This item was shipped USPS Media Mail & in typical USPS fashion, it got lost & had arrived to me late. That should not be a discredit to the seller as the seller DID place the item in a very secure envelope & did not get damaged at all while in transit (it was wrapped in cardboard & bubble-wrap & could endure a trip to Alaska & back). This item is exactly as described, well photographed, & great value for the money spent. Great seller, highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seller was quick to respond (even over the July 4th holiday) and nice to speak with. The item took a while through usps but at no fault of the seller. Item was packaged well, it came exactly as it looked in the pictures and as described. I was excited to find a bottle of Trouble with some of the after shave still left in the bottle (although I know it won’t smell the exact same), but it smells like how my Dad used to smell and that’s priceless to me, so thank you.
