This timer is a nice n' handy lil' kitchen gadget. I really like the looks of it, the design, layout and functionality of the buttons. And the timer alert tone is just right - not annoying or too loud. As well, the price is buyer-friendly enough. Overall, I like it a lot. There is only one little drawback, and that is, there is seemingly no way to turn it completely off. Once activated, the LCD display always stays on, even at 00:00. I could find no way to turn it completely off, even in the instructions... well, that is shy of removing the battery. It would just logically seem that in always being on, the battery life might suffer somewhat. But it hasn't been an issue so far. So overall - 5 stars...
