    It does what it is supposed to do

    The tape deck works just fine. Used it for language training tapes. As a bonus it has AM/FM radio reception and a TV tuner. Since analog tv is 86'ed I have not used it... But who knows.. Maybe one day. Buy it if you need it. Simply put.. It works just fine:)

    Device recieved did not work.

    This device I purchased is listed as a working and tested device. The Walkman radio and megabass functions work, the TV receiver doesn't work due to our broadcasting signal for our area has converted to HD in 2008. Only the cassette player doesn't work at all, neither playing and fast forwarding and rewinding. The packaging and shipping was expertly done with great care with no signs of any damage.

    THIS SONY WAS A GREAT PRODUCT FOR ITS TIME WHEN I RECIEVED IT IT WORKED FINE FOR 2 DAYS THEN THE CASSETTE STOPPED WORKING I THINK THE MOTOR WENT OUT AGE OF THE PRODUCT TOOK ITS TOLL NO HARD FEELINGS IT HAPPENS THE CASSETTES THAT CAME WITH IT WERE A NICE ADDITION
