The Women follows the lives of a group of wealthy Manhattan women who bond together when their dearest friend learns of her husband's infidelity at the hands of a backstabbing shopgirl. Mary Haines (Ryan) is a clothing designer who seems to have it all - until her best friends Sylvie (Bening), an editor of a major fashion magazine, Edie (Messing) a mother of five and author Alex (Pinkett-Smith), unwittingly discover Mary's husband is having an affair with Crystal (Mendes), a gorgeous 'spritzer girl' at the Saks Fifth Avenue perfume counter. The women - including Mary's mother Catherine (Bergen) - take matters into their own hands...
