    Be prepared to do the math. Pretty patterns use only one jelly roll per quilt

    It has good patterns but a little hard to understand the cutting instructions because they are in European measurements (cm and mm ) with the conversion in inches vs yards or quarter yards.. so you have to reread and do math (i'm not good at converting and constantly going to computer software to do it) patterns are pretty. the back ground and intro(history) is easy to read.. these quilts are made from one jelly roll with wide borders to get a decent size.. but you could always use two jelly rolls or add interest in the border width .
