    HORNBY OO GAUGE NICKEL SILVER RIGHT HAND POINTS R613

    E bay has invited me to write a review regarding this Hornby trackwork and I thought why not ? I should say from the start this is a review of an older version of the right hand point and not the current one available in the shops. The reason I purchased it was because it is compatible with the older version of the Hornby point motor which I have got a surplus of. The point's heritage goes right back to the early 60's when the then Triang Railways introduced their Super 4 trackwork. This point is basically a finer scale version compatible with more modern trackwork. The piece of track certainly does it job and uses nickel silver rails which does not corrode as much as the former steel one. This is important to ensure good running.     Hard to find in good condition, crucial for operating modern & vintage rolling stock.

    This item in nickel silver is in really good condition which is becoming hard to find. The more relaxed tolerances enable vintage and modern rolling stock to pass through this crossover without issues. Current Peco and Hornby crossovers do not facilitate this.
