    Great for smaller cookware.

    It works great for pans under 9 inches. I tried to use to heat up 2 gallons of water in a stew pot. It took it just over an hour to heat the water up to 180 degrees but struggled to maintain 200 degrees. The power cord remained cool to the touch during this time and the area beneath the burner (counter top) only got slightly warm so it seems to be well built and safe. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this item again but would only recommend the size I previously stated.

    Warm coffee in the shop

    I bought it to keep a pot of coffee warm in my work shop, It does that on the lowest setting, easy to operate, doesn't take any more space than the pot alone. You COULD fry eggs or most anything you can cook on the stove with this. could use an auto shut of after say three hrs, just for safety, overall, I'M HAPPY!

    We’ve all heard about a “tiny home” ...

    Well this is a tiny home dream! I love being able to move it around when the mood strikes, lift with one hand to clean under ~ *** WAIT for it to cool! It does get incredibly hot all around. The burner is rigged, stays hot enough to finish off food when you’ve turned it off and the feet really do stick! I recommend avoiding laminate counter tops.yup, 18$ well spent :/) I’ll likely get another soon.

    Single burner

    I bought this to use when I melt wax for my candle business so I wouldn't have to go back and forth between my stove and kitchen island as well as having to clean my glass top stove. The red heating light quit after the 2nd use but isn't really an issue for me.
