What a gentle and very funny book
This civilised diary of Giles and Mary, each taking a turn to put their own point of view forward, in their own idiosyncratic style. I bought my first copy on Kindle. Recommended it to a friend, who went on to buy it and love it, then bought it in hardback for my aunt.

Charming and surprising
I am enjoying this book and can’t help but read it without Giles and Mary’s voices in my head. Their chalk and cheese personalities and their openness about the difficulties this causes in their relationship shows you a lovely insight into their lives
