Loreena McKennitt's music has served me for years as a source of inspiration in the writing of two of my novels over a fifteen year period, providing for me a musive effect toward giving me also a certain charmed ambience of my intellect. I picked certain selections as prospective background music for various sections of my novels and which tunes I hope will some day serve as thematically relevant mood music for what I dream will become motion picture versions of my novels. Using Alfred Lord Tennysons " Lady of Shalott" as lyrics for her song of the same name is again evidence of her reverence for the classic past of history as well as legend.
