Nest is the Best
I currently have 2 Nest outsides Cameras, but wanted a couple more...the ones I already have are great. I wanted a couple more so everything would be covered on camera! They alert you if someone is around, or if it hears a noise. You can set the alerts and it will even allow you to talk to people outside so you don’t have to open the door. Only downside is some of the flying critters are attracted to these cameras. These are super easy to install, and would recommend these for anyone even if you live in an apartment these could be installed and removed without other damage other than where the 2 screws held the bracket in place...which would be an EASY fix!

Many False notifications
Camera picks up flying bugs, spiders, rain, cloud shadows and wind blown foliage but sometimes ignores people, deer ect. No matter how you set zones it still does it. Nest support is clueless. They would have you believe its your computer. Standard resopnse is Clean cache, clean cookies, reboot machine, uninstall app and reinstall or we are pushing out a fix. Nothing works folks. I can't say if any other system is better but just be aware of Nest's limitations and adjust your expectations.

Simple, easy cameras with lots of features
Integrates easy with Nest thermostat. I like that the cameras form a mesh network, effectively expanding your wifi footprint. If you want the expanded features (longer history, etc) you must subscribe to Nest Aware. I won't; the cameras are enough. Simple installation, well constructed.

Great Security Cameras
Google's Nest Cameras are superb, high quality devices. Set-up is fast and intuitive in the Home app. Google provides multiple installation options. They are very keen detecting motion and presenting it immediately in high quality video. They are more expensive than most security cameras, but certainly worth the extra money. With good wifi their operation is so efficient and seamless that they're boring compared to less expensive cameras that require frequent fiddling. Paired with Nest Aware they provide excellent, customizable , no hassle home monitoring.

Easy set up and use

Great product great price
I was pleasantly surprised that these where brand new cameras with the Google Nest Logo on the box. Instead of just plain Nest. What I’m saying is they weren’t just new nest cameras they are the new Google logo nest cameras and the best price I found after 5 hours of searching.

good cameras
Good cameras, two of several we have and all Nest products have worked well. We're using one of these in the backyard and the other in the kennel outdoor run to keep an eye on the dogs. Easy to set up. The one at the kennel is barely within range of our wifi, which results in periodic loss of connection even with Eero range extenders (which I can also recommend).

Dare to take the WiFi
I live out in a rural area and depend on a MiFi HotSpot from Verizon for Internet. So if I need to print a document or use my lap top, I have to take it away from the Nest of camera 1. I haven’t even installed camera 2. I’m hoping to get normal internet service soon. Until then my dogs, neighbors and camera 1 will be doing the job. Otherwise it is easy to install, software service free for 1 month.
