Was technically as described, but while reads were working perfectly, the write would skip (and it would make a pretty harsh noise). I eventually tried to lube it up and hopefully resolve the issue, but it made no difference. Eventually I ended up breaking the write head ribbon cable, and it's going to need to be repaired, but that's not the fault of the seller. Overall, good experience but it's kind of a gamble with old tech.
