Is a silly movie, but hard not to laugh at times
I love Tom Hanks and he plays his part very well. Lots of laughs and sillyness takes place in this movie. Hard not to smile or laugh at times!

Evil Colonel Sanders meets somebody's Mamma!
The Ladykillers is very entertaining! It has the usual Coen Brothers quirkiness along with over the top humor, cartoonish and slapstick violence, compelling characters, an outlandish plot, great music, and a surprising sweetness. Tom Hanks an an evil Colonel Sanders is brilliant. Irma P. Hall as the wise landlady is extraordinary! The soundtrack, a mix of gospel and hip(itty) hop, is wonderful.
