    Used my notebook to do setup

    Works fine allowing me to get auto updates. Used computer to set it up so It would connect to the 5 GHz n channel as auto set up always choose the 2.4 GHz n channel. I had one of these before which lasted 3 years but eventually started losing it connection and wouldn't complete a download. Hope TiVo provides an alternate product since this adapter is no longer sold.

    Easy way to connect a TiVo

    I wanted an easy to connect TiVo units to my wireless network. The TiVo’s weren’t near the router and I couldn’t use MOCA since I had a tuning adapter from my cable company that seemed to introduce problems and complications. This wasn’t optimal, but it worked easily.

    Works great at a reasonable price

    I installed this on my Premier XL Tivo that I moved from the living room to the family room, it where there is no wired connections. It came with everything need to install it.. I had to look up online how to connect it to my wireless network as no direction were included. Other then that I am very please with how it performs.

    This wireless adapter is intended for TIVO but I use it to provide a wired connection to a PC without wireless capability. It works great! Initial setup was easy. Similar functionality to a "wifi extender" you'd see here on eBay.
