I am satisfied as long as it works; worry about battery dying after some years
My last one was Philips Norelco S3310, and I used it for 5.5 years without changing any part; then it suddenly stopped working, and it appears to me that it is the battery that can no longer be changed. My order of a new one, S3513, arrived 9 days ago and I have been using it every morning, and so far I am satisfied with it. I looked at a couple of Youtube videos about battery change, and it is not an easy task. I hope that future models can make battery change easier; or make it possible to be used with cord after the rechargeable battery dies.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not Great, Not terrible
I've been using electric shavers for 45 years. I've always owned foil shavers and currently have a Panasonic ES8103S, which shaves very good but I still have to finish off with a razor blade. However, the replacement foils and cutters have started to become more expensive and decided to look for a shaver that had less expensive replacement blades. I looked online and saw the Philips Norelco rotary shavers and they seemed to have very good ratings and the replacement heads could be bought fairly cheap, so I decided to get the 3500. Since receiving it, I have shaved with it for about 6-7 times, 3 days between shaves. Shaving dry was not good. I used a pre-shave lotion for lubrication and the results were better but still not as good as my foil razor. It doesn't do well in areas like in the neck area under the jaw. I will keep the razor and still use it from time to time and perhaps, as I use it more, I will find a method that will get the razor to work better.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Gives a good shave.
This razor replaces an older norelco that had lasted about 5 years and no longer held a charge. I had just replaced the shaving heads so I can make a pretty valid assessment of the new shaver. Not up to basic Norelco rotary shaver standards of the past.
Not up to typical Norelco rotary shaver standards. It shaves OK, but not particularlyclose. It runs at an unusually slow speed which likely affects the quality of the shave and how long it takes for a shave. It feels awkward to hold and is fairly long, making it less suitable for travel. Good But Bigger
This Norelco shaver did a good job shaving down the face hair. Close enough to make your face skin smooth and stubble free. Shaver is a bit larger than what I'm use to with earlier Norelcos. The shaving head is bigger but I guess it covers more.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
