A nice EDC
My original and favorite knife is the SOG Flash 2 - so in comparison to that: I don't love the handle of the Rat 2 - it's a little too slippery but still a good feel in hand Blade is EXTREMELY sharp and the black coating is beautiful. For its purpose as an EDC, it arrived even sharper than the SOG, and I appreciate that. It is not spring-assisted like the flash 2. That one just springs open with no effort. This knife I actually have to guide almost all the way open or flick it with my wrist. It's not make it or break it for me, but it's still annoying. All in all, I don't regret this purchase at all - Great knife for the price.
