As well as the obvious illuminating quality, the heat from the filament lamp causes the wax element of the lamp to soften and start it's free moving abstract patterns. I am not sure if the reduced heat loss from LED would have the desired effect! This replacement lamp was delivered quickly and fitted in seconds.
